My advice for those who are planning on going? Keep an open mind, look out for yourself and your pals, keep a level head, learn what you can, and try to have some fun while you're at it. Buckeye was pretty lenient back a couple years ago when I was still going there. Youre going to find stuck up jerks, callous students, and you're going to be stuck with them. Just try not to forget that not all of them are like that, and that there are always going to be someone that can help you out, emotionally or physically.

The new secretary is so helpful. She has helped me with every problem that I've had..Thanks! :)

Pro tip: The ones that stand out from the rest of the jocks and preps, they're the ones who are willing to be true friends. Find your circle, and keep them close. People that will respect and care for you.

I guess I can overall say it was an average experience, one I don't regret, but it could've been so much better.

Honestly? Had I not found my small niche of besties at this school, I wouldn't have had as good of a time. In fact, I'd probably call it rather dull/depressing. I went there my entire life, from K-12. Some of the teachers I've had were wonderful, but most of them are gone by now. And that was all before Common Core was implemented (shivers). Don't let AP classes tell you they're preparing you for college classes. They aren't.

It's like most schools, I guess. Unremarkable, some good times, made some wonderful friends there, but also had unprovoked enemies as well (as any standard student would have, I suppose).

I'm a junior in Buckeye High school Everyone is my friend and big schools may have better stuff then us and win more but we have nice teacher, wonderful lunch ladies, great librarian and much more so we might not have much be we put a lot of heart into it and everything we do.

I very much enjoy Buckeye Jr. High even if it is my first year, and I'm in 7th grade. The teachers are great, the overall experiance is very educational, and the focus is fully on learning.

I am from Deville, La. I am now retired and live in Oyster, Va. My time at Buckeye was great. I had gone to school one year in Va. during my school years. Buckeye was so much better. I am glad we moved back to La. I am a 1961 graduate. I hope to return back one more time before I leave this world. Keep up the good work.
